"Ruby and the Ruby" stage play returns AGAIN

The Stage play “Ruby and the Ruby” has returned AGAIN, the only difference is there’s a new pin. If they didn't have a new pin, they would've broken Club Penguin history with the first ever repeated pin!

It’s a 1930′s detective story and the play is entirely in black and white. It follows the story of a detective named Jacque Hammer and a woman named Ruby.

Here’s how you find the hidden pin:

  1. Click on the lamp on the desk near the front.
  2. Click on the file cabinet in the office.
  3. Click on the garbage can in the alley in the back.
  4. Click on the book on the same desk as the lamp you clicked before.
  5. Click on the flower vase on the table in the living room
  6. Click on the painting on the wall, which reveals a safe
  7. Click on the combination lock on the safe to open it and reveal the red ruby pin!

Also in the Costume Trunk catalog, there are 2 cheats.

1. Click on the doorknob for the Dark Detective’s Coat.

2. To find the hidden background, go to the back page and slide down the message.

http://club-penguin-secrets.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/club-penguin-ruby-hidden-background.png

Below is the script:

  • Hammer: I was working late. A terrible storm was raging.
  • Ruby: You’ve got to help me!
  • Hammer: What’s the problem madam?
  • Ruby: Someone has stolen my gemstone!
  • Hammer: Jacque Hammer at your service.
  • Ruby: Let’s work together.
  • Hammer: I work alone, Ms. Ruby.
  • Ruby: There was this fishy-looking guy outside.
  • Hammer: And you suspect him?
  • Ruby: I saw him throw something in the bin.

Scene 2:

  • Hammer: The name’s Hammer – Jacque Hammer.
  • Hammer: I’ve got a few questions for you.
  • Tenor: Mind if I play hopscotch while you ask them?
  • Hammer: What were you doing yesterday?
  • Tenor: I was right here with my hopscotch gang.
  • Hammer: I bet you’ve hopscotched away a few gems, right?
  • Tenor: You’re barking up the wrong tree, Hammer.

Scene 3:

  • Hammer: There was nothing in the bin. I needed clues.
  • Dom: Hello Mr. Hammer. It’s good to see you, sir.
  • Hammer: Seen anything suspicious, Dom?
  • Dom: Sorry, Mr. Hammer, sir, I haven’t.
  • Hammer: Where’s Ms. Ruby?
  • Dom: She’s arranging the flowers across the hall, sir.
  • Hammer: That lady’s trouble. I need to speak to her…
  • Dom: Don’t forget to sign the guestbook, sir.

Scene 4:

  • Hammer: Anything else you can tell me, madam?
  • Ruby: Haven’t you found it yet? I’m busy.
  • (Ruby exits)
  • Hammer: I found a note under a vase.
  • Hammer: The numbers looked like a combination.

Scene 5:

  • Hammer: Here’s your gem, Ms. Ruby. It was safe all along.
  • Ruby: Oh, jolly well done, Hammer.
  • Hammer: Another day, another crime solved.

Do you think Club Penguin should have a NEW play? I do, but atleast they have a new pin, otherwise they would’ve broken history by repeating a pin!

New EPF "VR" Room and Tube Transporter

There is now a new room in the EPF Command room, which allows you to see all previous HQs!

You can visit the new room called the “VR Room” via the Tube Transporter.

By clicking on either 2005, 2007 or 2010, you can see what the HQ looked like in those years by a Hologram!

2005 – Looks fairly basic

2007 – With screens to monitor all locations of Club Penguin…

2010 – Destroyed, thanks to Herbert in Mission 11…

EPF Command Room – Oh how technology has advenced…

By clicking reset, you will return to the original room. You can also still do PSA missions, simply walk over to the screen on the right to choose one.

At any time, you can return to the command room, simply walk back to the left of the screen…

What do you think of the new room? I like it how they have those Holograms!

Club Penguin Wii Game "Game Day"

Well, first there were the DS games, but this September, Club Penguin will be releasing their game on Wii called “Club Penugin Game Day”.

http://mms.businesswire.com/bwapps/mediaserver/ViewMedia?mgid=231604&vid=4&download=1

Here’s all the information about it:

BURBANK, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Disney Interactive Studios today announced Club Penguin Game Day! is being developed exclusively for Wii. Scheduled for release this September, Club Penguin Game Day! will mark the franchise’s video game console debut.

Based on the snow-covered virtual world that’s captivated millions around the globe, Club Penguin Game Day! will delve into the environment, characters and storylines of the online playground of Club Penguin like never before. The game will include innovative ways to connect with ClubPenguin.com and new, interactive mini-games to challenge and engage the whole family.

Club Penguin has always maintained a really strong emphasis on social, family fun and the value of working together,” said Lane Merrifield, co-founder of Club Penguin and executive vice president of Disney Online Studios. “Moving onto the Wii platform lets us offer parents a great opportunity to connect with their kids in the comfort of their own living room around an active game that’s participatory, cooperative and a lot of fun for everyone, and that’s something we’re really excited about.”

In Club Penguin Game Day!, players create and customize a penguin and compete in a variety of single or multiplayer sports-themed racing and performance events such as Java Sack, Fast Freeze, Sled & Slide and Sumo Smash. Each time players beat a challenge, they conquer a zone on the island. The ultimate goal is for players to work with their team and conquer as much territory as possible.

Club Penguin Game Day! will be the third video game in the franchise, following the recent release of Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert’s Revenge for Nintendo DS™. The highly anticipated sequel to the original DS game, Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force, which was released in 2008 and sold more than 1.5 million units worldwide, introduced intriguing new missions and mysteries for Elite Penguin Force agents.

“As the Club Penguin phenomenon continues to grow, it makes sense to bring the brand to Wii,” said Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios.“ Club Penguin Game Day! combines the distinct look and feel of the Club Penguin virtual world with competitive games that are easy to pick up and play using the Wii Remote.”

Club Penguin Game Day! will allow players to transfer their customized penguins via their Wii Remote™ to a friend’s Wii for use in gameplay. Once back on the original console, high scores, coins and customization items earned will merge with the player’s profile.

As with the two DS games, players can also upload coins earned in game to ClubPenguin.com, but the new game will take the elements of online-offline connectivity even further by also allowing players to synchronize their in-game penguins and achievements with their online penguin accounts.

Published by Disney Interactive Studios, Club Penguin Game Day! is Rated E for Everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). For more information, visit: http://www.disney.com/clubpenguingameday.

Sounds really good! Only problem is I don’t have a Wii, only a DS. Oh well, hopefully I can get one before the games released!

Please let me know what you think. Will it be better then the DS games? Do you have a Wii?

Rockhopper visit and Adventure Party plans revealed in Newspaper

Issue #243 of the Penguin Times Newspaper is now out, and it reveales that Club Penguin WILL be having an adventure party after all! Not only that, but Rockhopper will also be visiting!! If you don’t already know, I sent an email to Club Penguin strongly requesting on behalf of a HUGE amount of penguins, and it turned out they DID listen in the end! I can’t wait!

Here what the article says about the party:

“Everyone get ready! All over, penguins are getting set for the Island Adventure Party. We caught up with a busy party planner who told us, “We’re working on lots of cool stuff for party-goers. Things like secret forts, nautical games, and a place that Mermaids would love.

We’re also thinking about doing a scvenger hunt and starting some good old-fashioned seafaring battles…”

Sources tell us that penguins are helping to get the island ready. Some pirates have even been spotted setting up flares at the beach to call Rockhopper. “We definately want him here. And me? Personally, I like the Treasure Hunt game the best.”

Sounds like there might be a Scavenger Hunt? The party begins June 18 2010!

Not only the Adventure party will return on the 18th, but Rockhopper will also! He hasn’t visited for a few months, so it will be nice to have a chance to look at his ship “the Migrator” and possibly even meet him! But for now we need to call him and try and make him come quicker, the instructions are below.

How to make Rockhopper come!

1. Light Flares by clicking on them. Try to make them go as high as you can!

2. Dance be loud with your buddies!

3. Throw a party in your igloo and eat pizza – Rockhopper’s favourite food!

4. Remember to keep a look for Rockhopper.

Also, take a look at the picture when you solve the wordsearch.

I’m really excited! I can’t wait to adventure in the beautiful, tropical, fun environment! It’s so rare to see Club Penguin like this! Hope you and I both meet Rockhopper this time. I’ve only met him once ever! Please let me know if you’re excited too!

Reviewed by You - One item in an Adventure

Last week, Club Penguin asked what one item would you bring with you on an adventure. Here’s Lilly34184′s review:

Hello Penguins!
Last week we asked you what one item you would bring with you on an adventure. And Lilly34184 said:
That is a great question. If I could bring anything it would be my “Thinking Cap”. I always need to think hard when it comes to saving the island and also bringing a fish and squid pizza(Mmm!) would keep me from being hungry the whole time! But if I had to choose one it would be my good thinking skills.

June 8 Blog Image.png

Many of you told us that you like going on adventures with your friends. So this week we’d like to know who YOU would go on an adventure with. Where would you go on the island?
Write your Reviewed By You answer as a comment. We’ll post one (50 – 75 words, please) in next week’s Reviewed By You. If your submission is chosen to be the feature comment on next week’s blog, we’ll add 10 000 coins to your penguin account. Don’t forget to use your penguin name so we can add coins!

Until then… Waddle on!

Great work Lilly34184! Can’t wait until the Adventure party’s here!

New EPF Room and Weekly assignments starting next week

Next week, I think June 15th (to see why click here) our EPF weekly assignments will begin! Not only that, but there should also be a new EPF room! Take a look at Billybob’s post below:

Hello Agent Penguins!

Work on the new Elite Penguin Force Command Room is nearly complete – great work everyone who helped weld metal, program computers, and manage workers!

There are a few new surprises coming up this week (including a new room!), but I’ve got a sneak peek for something coming up NEXT week – your new orders. Check this out:

3000.jpg

We’ve heard many agents report in, wanting to know what they can do to protect Club Penguin. Starting next week, you’ll receive orders – for your first WEEKLY assignment. So, are YOU ready?

In other news – many of you have asked if you’re allowed to talk about the EPF. Well, since agents now have the power to invite citizens to join, you can definitely reveal you’re part of the EPF. Just don’t discuss any classified information (such as about a certain polar bear.)

Until next time… Waddle on!

-Club Penguin Team

I can’t wait! I wonder what it’s going to look like!

EPF agents needed for "Penguins around the World"

A new mission has been requested for Club Penguin secret agents! All you need to do, is take a secret agent themed photo and send it in to Club Penguin! Here's Billybob's post:

Hello Penguins!

We're seeing lots of busy agents all over the island - and the team wanted to give you an extra challenge while you're away from the island, too!

Your mission: Take a secret agent themed photo of your favorite penguin or puffle and send it in to Penguins Around the World. Be creative - You might see yours posted!

agentpenguin.jpg

And speaking of penguins and puffles, keep your eyes out for the Series 5 Pet Puffles and new 2nd series Plush Puffle Clip Ons - you'll see them soon in stores. As always, we'd love to hear from you about what you like (and even what you don't like) about the Club Penguin Toys - is there anything you'd really like to see?

Until then...Waddle on!
-Club Penguin Team

Hmm... wonder what photos I could come up with, or places I could go for a "secret agent" theme in Australia...?

In other news there's a new series of Club Penguin Puffle toys out now! Take a look at them and more toys by clicking here!

Club Penguin looses popularity by 1 million players!!!

Today, I found out that Club Penguin has lost 1 million players since January last year. In the picture below, you can see that in Jan 2009, they had about 3.2 million players, and in April this year, they had 2.2 million, a 1 million player loss!

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifFuQBemDnRGt6MJEXEUvi8Bd6Q1vZPTBJ23rJGxX9ymJMdJRzxf6bYCkSqdcGOhzZC9fWBV7EH0Wsgcglla2mEyafUzm33JMbTbYhpwWtZNa95eYJFgoQJ0Uwx8VCgshyphenhyphenoneZFYpaxW0/s1600/lost1.jpg

I’m not surprised, it honestly is because of Disney. They’re making Club Penguin too commercial. They’re after money, not the enjoyment of people playing in Club Penguin. Just think about it, they’re increasingly making more things member only. There are less free items at parties, and less new ones. Another huge reason of the popularity decrease is because they got rid of the Christmas, Easter Egg Hunt and St Particks Day parties. These were some of the best and most popular parties they ever had. Getting rid of them, was a really, really stupid idea.

Club Penguin is nothing like it used to be mainly thanks to Disney and as a result is becoming much less popular. I don’t like what’s happening to the virtual world, which WAS the best website that ever existed in my opinion. The worst thing though, is that they DON’T LISTEN TO THINGS LIKE THIS! They don’t care what they’re turning into. I don’t know what the future will be for Club Penguin, if they don’t change, less and less people will want to play on it.

We must make Club Penguin be more like they used to be. They could start by bringing back these parties though. That would certainly bring back more penguins.

IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE ME, OR WHAT I SAY PENGUINS THINK ABOUT THIS, CLICK HERE FOR PROOF.

Also if there’s any chance for them to change things, remember WE MUST EMAIL THEM. It doesn’t do any harm at all! Give them what you think!!

What do you think Club Penguin should do?

Are you angry at Disney?

Should they be less greedy and commercial?

Should they bring back these parties?

Please let me know what you think.
